The Process

Karen will monitor your health on a regular basis as well as monitor your progress losing weight. Dr. Butler-Colbert provides a concierge type weight loss service that has had successful long term weight loss goals met and maintained.

Your treatment will start with an initial consultation and exam. Following your initial consultation, we will work with you to develop a program tailored to your lifestyle and your needs. Medications and supplements are used in conjunction with behavior modification. The process starts with the measurement of resting metabolic rate (RMR) with an indirect calorimeter which determines an individual's daily caloric need at rest.
